OVERVIEW

Back-A-Line supports are tapered to accommodate both those with "waist smaller than hips" and those with "waist bigger than hips."

To determine the appropriate size for your body, follow the directions below to correctly take your measurement.

HOW TO MEASURE

1) First, find a measuring tape. Our sizing goes by inches.

2) Then use the measuring tape to measure around your torso in the same place you would normally put a belt around your pants. For best fit, especially for those with waist bigger than hips, have the measuring tape follow the same angle you normally wear your pants.

Have the two ends of the measuring tape meet at the front for easy measurement reading.

NOTE:
Most customers wear their Back-A-Line support OUTSIDE of their clothes, and take this into account when measuring their size.

HOW TO WEAR YOUR BACK-A-LINE LUMBAR SUPPORT

"My waist is smaller than my hips."

With the support's scratchy Velcro side in your LEFT HAND and inside washing label facing UP, attach the belt together near your navel/belly button.

"My waist is bigger than my hips."

With the scratchy Velco in your RIGHT HAND and washing label facing DOWN, place the lumbar pad in the small of your back and wrap the belt (following your belt/pants line) so the Velcro attaches UNDER your belly, by about 3-4 inches. Lift your belly to secure the Velcro, and you're all set.

A bonus feature is that the support will carry a lot of your belly weight for better balance.
