Good product fits well with good back support
Arrived on time- can't wait to see how it helps me when I run a 5k
Way back in the late 90's when living in the Bay Area (Fremont) I bought my first Back-A-Line belt @ Home Depot. Now, back in Belgium, in 2017 my belt worn-out after many years of good services.
I still use the pad between my back and my car seat.
My new one just arrived and I'm really pleased with the upgrade (2-inch strap).
Thanks for helping with my lower back problems,
Love the belt, i'v been using your belts over 15 years and couldn't do with out them.
Has helped me a great deal in heavy work, bowling and golf.
Works great for me when I go bowling which is the main reason I purchased it
DELUXE LUMBAR SUPPORT
I wear mine driving truck. It took a couple of days to get used to. But the difference at the end of the day in back soreness is a great relief. Its a bit pricey, but the quality seems to be very good,
Suport my back perfect
Great! After putting on the belt, the additional strap allows tightening to your desired support level.
DELUXE LUMBAR SUPPORT
It can use a thicker flexible soft mat'l with velcro for comfort .it is ok
I have 4 injured vertebrae and I get more than substantial relief.
DELUXE LUMBAR SUPPORT
WORKS WHEN YA WEAT IT
Seems perfect for use when riding a motorcycle.
searched the internet for a good back brace that i could use at the gym and at work..this brace is great..u can tighten it as much as u need and supports my back great..great buy!!
Had my back broken (in a bike accident), and have had problems with discomfort in it since. Tried a variety of things, most without improvement. I ordered the "Back-A-Line" based upon a product review in the BMW Owners' magazine, and recently used it during an 1800-mile trip on (mainly) secondary roads between the Florida Panhandle and San Antonio, TX, and back. It took some practice to get the adjustment(s) right, but - once I'd figured that out - the belt made a vast improvement in my comfort on that ride. The only discomfort came if I had it fastened too tightly - my tendency was, if a little bit of "tight" was good, then more would be "better." Proved not to be so.
This product does not cost much, and can make a great deal of difference to how tired and hurting you are at the end of an 8- or 9-hour day on your bike. I've been riding nearly 50 years, and highly recommend it.
As I had long heard, but only recently realized (or admitted), "getting old ain't for sissies!" How this applies to the Back-A-Line for me is that I had started noticing more of a tendency to slump my back and shoulders. Having had a Dad who developed a stooping syndrome so badly that he went from 5'9" to around 5'1", I decided it was about time to do something to retain what height I still have. (At 66, I have obviously 'shrunk a bit', but c'mon there must be some limit!)
Anyway, a fellow motorcycle enthusiast passed the word about the Back-A-Line, and after several compatriots expressed their opinions, I decided I'd give this a try. So far, I am pleased. I am using the device less as a full time support or therapeutic device, as one to remind me (and my muscles) what position my back, shoulders and head should be in. That is, I do not wear it for protracted periods, but for varying intervals thoughout the day.
I am noticing that I am tending less to hunch over, and generally my back is more comfortable. I do not know that I AM any taller, but I feel so, and generally feel like my posture is improving.
Per advice from two friends, one a licensed physical therapist, the other an occupational therapist, I am not wearing it more that 1-2 hours at a time, and then once-twice a day. I am also using it when moderately to heavy lifting is involved.
The only con I can relate is lack of thorough instructions regarding placement, beyond "at the waist." In particular, I wanted to ensure I was wearing it appropriately in relation to the tailbone and those vertebrae immediately above. I resolved this by viewing pictures on the [...] website, but an illustration with the device would have been good.
Four stars as it is too new for a conclusive evaluation, but the results have been good so far.
This back support is amazing! It has very good lower back/lumbar support for riding all day long.... "Keeping the rubber side down".
I purchased the back a line support because I work in a warehouse and am lifting heavy parts all day long. My back was starting to hurt and I found this product online and decided to get it. I have been using it for about 2 months and my back pain has almost completely went away. I used to hurt not only at work but at home as well. Using this at work has made my back feel so much better.
I purchased a Snap-On support for $70, this is the company who makes these for them. These are almost half price. This is a no brainer. The best support for your back and abdomen for a nice price. I recommend this support over any that have elastic bands.
I bought this support after reading an article in Golf Digest about various back supports. I have some stenosis and arthritis in my lower back and it was affecting my golf swing. I wear this support (and do some back stretches) on the course and swing without any problems. Works Great for me.
Works fine. Needed some time to break it in.
I have a herniated and burst low back disc, and this allows me some mobility. I love that it has a built in lumbar support. Money well spent.
So far best back brace ever used. Everyone has different reasons for back pain. An MRI revealed pressure on nerves and disc degeneration. Back pain had occurred with various movements. This brace evidently prevents shifiting of spine and it works for me.
Excellent item. Works better than most back braces. I also like the fact that it tapers smaller in the front. More comfortable that way. The pressure in center of back is firm but well padded. Easy to wear for extended time.
Best back "brace" I've ever had. It's not a brace like others that bind your back and gut. It's more like a cross between a lumbar support pad, a heat pack, and a weightlifting belt. It doesn't bind you, so you still have to use your muscles. It provides great lumbar support so you can sit, lean, or stand just about anywhere and relax. It helps keep the muscles warm, and when you need extra support for lifting, you can tighten it. If you feel the need, you can wear it all day long, but if you wear it too tight for too long it can irritate your skin under your belt line.
Both my husband and I have occasional lower back strain when we fail to use good body mechanics, and this worked very well to keep my husband mobile during a recent incident. Be sure to measure your waist carefully, particularly if you plan to wear the belt over jeans and a belt. There is a bit of leeway, but it has an extra cross belt that hooks to velcro, and if too small will not fit. A good product for our needs. If you feel relief by pressing your hands against your back, you will get good results with this support.
So good I bought two!
Works fine, it sticks out quite a bit to wear under a pair wranglers so you have to wear it on the out side even with a size larger wranglers. I bought it to help my back which it does, it is not a fashion statement for me so wearing it on the outside does not bother me.
It helps with lumbar pain.
Little broad but over all pleased and shipping was quick
The brace gave immediate relief , in fact after wearing it for a few hours I realized how well it had been working when I took it off. It's not something you can wear under your clothes so if you need to go out and aren't to self conscience do it.
Herniated and bulging disc and have used multiple different brands over the years this is number 1 I wear it loose on good days and snug on bad days ! 2nd best is Ace Deluxe but this is better, only issue I had was the chemicals on the Velcro I had a pretty bad reaction to, if you scratch your skin on it will then break out in a 2 day rash but was so worth it. I should have washed it first ! But that stopped after a couple weeks
they're on their feet all day, lifting patients, -and- carrying lots of supplies. Would make a great Christmas gift for my aunts and cousins in the medical field. I'm sure their backs are tired at the end of a long shift in the hospital.
This is my second one, It really relieves my back pain. I have told several friends about back a line, and told them about your site. If you have been thinking about getting this product. I say buy one, You will be happy you did, And kicking yourself for not getting one sooner.
This back support is heavy in order to correctly support the lower spine. I like it because it's built correctly to channel the lumbar spinal area, I've had 3 lumbosacral/thoracic spinal surgeries, and this brace works great for me. Price is right, too.
